Piper PA-18-150 Water Loop Near Fairbanks, AK
On May 29, 2023, a single-engine Piper PA-18-150, N4488Z, was substantially damaged in an accident near Fairbanks, AK. No injuries were reported. The pilot failed to maintain directional control during landing with a quartering tailwind, resulting in a water loop and impact with terrain.  ·
