Pilots Survive Helicopter Crash In Afghanistan
In a remarkable incident captured on film in Afghanistan, American army helicopter pilots managed to survive a harrowing crash. The Apache AH-64 helicopter was taking off from the Sar Howzah district in the Paktika province when the extraordinary sequence of events unfolded. The astonishing footage depicts the helicopter soaring over buildings before making an unexpected turn, doubling back on itself. Unfortunately, it descends too rapidly, leading to a violent impact with the snow, sending a spray of it into the air. The helicopter is thrown onto its top, its rotors flinging it across the landscape until it finally comes to a rest. Incredibly, both individuals on board the helicopter survived the crash, and no one on the ground suffered injuries. The International Security Assistance Force disclosed that the incident is believed to have occurred on February 6. US Army officials are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this accident. At the time of the incident, two AH-64 helicopters were providing overwatch for an ISAF patrol that was collecting supplies airdropped earlier in the day, according to a spokesman. |

dangit lol.. was about to post this. The info I saw about it was "AH-64 Apache helicopter crash in Sharana, Afghanistan. The pilot was executing a maneuver known as "return to target". No one on the ground was killed and both pilots survived, possible criminal charges were laid." |

Depends on how the vehicles are destroyed. In this case, the pilot will be dishonorably discharged and hit with a bunch of criminal charges.

He's a loser for doing that? put your self in their position, because if I were, I'd being giving those Apache's a good hammering too if I got the chance to fly one  But that's a huge fuck up, the guy is very lucky to be alive. |
