N.J. pilot, passenger die after plane crashes into Florida therapy center.

A 51-year-old pilot from New Jersey and his passenger died after his plane crashed into a therapy center for autistic children in Florida on Saturday, according to a report.

Family members told ABC that Eladio Marquez, a flight instructor from Rahway who owned the plane, a Cessna 335, which is registered in New Jersey, died in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration said it could not release the registration number of the plane Monday night, but Marquez does own a Cessna 335, according to public records.

The Fort Lauderdale Police could not be reached for comment Monday night, and all inquiries about the pilot and his passenger’s IDs were directed to them.

He leaves behind two children, including an 11-year-old son with his wife.

His widow, Belkis Marquez, says she is heartbroken as she struggles to come to grips with the death of her husband.

She said her husband left for Florida on Friday and told her he would be back soon. She has no idea what caused the crash, but she said her husband loved to fly and was a good pilot.
