On July 6, 2013, Asiana Airlines Flight 214, a Boeing 777-200ER, crashed while attempting to land at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in the United States. The flight was arriving from Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea.

During the final approach and landing, the aircraft came in too low and too slow, causing its tail to strike a seawall at the edge of the runway. The impact caused the aircraft to lose its tail section and skid down the runway before coming to a stop.

Tragically, three passengers lost their lives in the crash, and many others were injured. The passengers who perished were seated in the rear of the aircraft, and their deaths were attributed to the impact and resulting forces.

The crash investigation determined that the probable cause of the accident was the flight crew's mismanagement of the approach and inadequate monitoring of airspeed. It was also noted that the cockpit crew did not respond adequately to the deteriorating airspeed and altitude during the final approach.

The altitude and speed at the end of the flight are indicative of a landing, they happen every flight.

Sorry for poor quality of this screen shot, but this does appear to a body covered up. It was laying on the opposite side of the runway from the plane.

Well, when you land airplanes into the side of a sea wall it usually doesn't end well. Pilot was coming in on visual approach. I give it 99% chance pilot error. Came in too low, took out landing gear on sea wall, and sheared off tail with hard impact to terrain.
