Pelican 500 BR Makes Emergency Landing on Busy Highway
A Flyer Pelican 500BR ultralight aircraft performed an emergency landing on a busy highway in Garuva, SC, Brazil, after an apparent engine failure in flight. The aircraft had left Guaramirim, SC for a panoramic flight. Nobody was injured, and the aircraft was later towed.

Looks like the marker balls did their job. They flew for some distance at low level, indicating surplus airspeed following a dive. Probably aiming right for them prior. |
