Pegasus Boeing 737 Overruns Runway in Istanbul
On February 5, 2020, Pegasus Boeing 737-86J TC-IZK skidded off the runway at Istanbul, Turkey. Mode-S data indicated the aircraft landed long and fast, touching down about 1,950 metres past the runway threshold. It overran the runway end at about 63 knots, veered slightly left, struck the runway 06 localizer antenna, and crossed an airport road.  ·
