North American-Buehn T-6G Gear-up Landing Near Ankeny, IA
On May 20, 2023, a single-engine North American-Buehn T-6G, N42JM, made a gear-up landing on a runway near Ankeny, IA. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The pilot was not injured. The accident was caused by the pilot inadvertently retracting the landing gear control lever, which resulted in the gear-up landing.  ·  ·
