Milan Stefanik's Fatal Plane Crash
Tragedy struck the aviation world as Milan Štefánik, a prominent astronomer, aviator, and diplomat, met with a fatal plane crash on May 4, 1919. The crash marked the untimely end of an exceptional career and life dedicated to science and international diplomacy. Milan Štefánik, of Czechoslovak and French nationality, was a renowned figure in the fields of astronomy and aviation. He was also a key diplomat in the early 20th century.
