Manfred Forst Crashes Plane Into a Tree in Plainville, Connecticut
On Monday morning in Plainville, Connecticut, a small plane crashed in a parking lot near the Robertson Field Airport. The pilot, 79-year-old Manfred Forst, miraculously managed to walk away from the incident, which was captured on camera. The crash involved a 1981 Cessna 172, which went down behind a business adjacent to the airport at 11:24 a.m. Manfred Forst, who is originally from Germany, was on his way to breakfast when the plane crashed. He was taken to the Hospital of Central Connecticut with minor injuries. Forst expressed his gratitude for surviving the crash without serious injuries and mentioned giving his wife a big kiss when he got home after the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration responded to the scene and is investigating the crash. There was a minor fuel leak reported as a result of the crash. |
