She wasn't the only one not wearing her gear properly though. In fact, the only astronaut who was fully suited is the only one who survived decompression. His hand was recorded on an active killswitch for, IIRC, something like 5.5 seconds after separation. Being fully suited would have spared him from the worst of it, until he was struck by an object.
