This is the last video and radio transmissions from the Space Shuttle Columbia before it burned up on re-entry and killed all seven astronauts.

Space Shuttle Columbia was the first space-rated Space Shuttle in NASA's orbiter fleet. It launched for the first time on mission STS-1 on 12 April 1981, the first flight of the Space Shuttle program. Over 22 years of service it completed 27 missions before disintegrating during re-entry near the end of its 28th mission, on February 1st 2003, resulting in the deaths of all seven crew members.

I helped NASA GPS pieces of the shuttle in Nacogdoches Texas, I had three days left on the assignment, while training a new person which found a VHS tape broken and embedded in the mud out in a cow pasture. On my last day of work NASA told me it was a tape from the Columbia but never saw any footage from it, I wonder if this could be it?

We actually had debris from the accident fall onto our land...a total of 6 pieces were discovered on 30 acres. Within hours, agencies had swarmed all of East Texas to collect most of the remains...
