Possibly just struck with confusion? Can happen to any of us when we are minding our own business driving somewhere and right in front of us a helicopter is coming closer and closer. We all think and hope we'd be Super Driver and reverse or jump out of the car or something. The car seemed like it was just driving and then it stopped as the helicopter was right in front of it. Very sad and horrible thing to happen to the driver.

Having a helicopter skid come right through your windshield is probably not the best way to start the day. Especially if you die.
