Grumman G-44A N444M Runway Excursion Near Los Alamos, NM
On April 5, 2023, a twin-engine Grumman G-44A, N444M, was substantially damaged in a runway excursion and ground collision near Los Alamos, NM. No one aboard was injured. The accident happened during the takeoff roll while a pilot was receiving instruction. The cause was the pilot receiving instruction's failure to maintain directional control during the takeoff roll, which led to the runway excursion and ground collision.  ·  ·
