Glastar N8488 Crash Near Cal-Nev-Ari, NV
An amateur-built Glastar, registration N8488, crashed near Cal-Nev-Ari, Nevada, on April 11, 2023. The aircraft was substantially damaged. Two people were aboard, and both were fatally injured. The crash was caused by the pilot's failure to maintain sufficient altitude for undetermined reasons while maneuvering to land in dark night conditions, resulting in a collision with terrain.
