Footage From British Airtours Flight 28M Engine Fire
British Airtours Flight 28M killed 55 people in 1985 when an engine caught fire on the runway. Most of the 55 people died of smoke inhalation caused by the fire after not being able to escape the airplane. There were 82 survivors. This is aftermath footage, I have not been able to locate any real time footage as the event was happening. Hmmm guess the narrator of the video is confused as the 737 only has 2 engines. At .58 seconds into the video he says fourth engine
