Eurocopter EC 135 P2+ Crash Near Franklin, NC
A twin-engine Eurocopter EC 135 P2+, N558MT, operated by Med-Trans Corporation, crashed near Franklin, NC, on March 9, 2023. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. Three people aboard sustained minor injuries. The crash was caused by the pilot's improper decision to review an aircraft logbook while enroute, which resulted in controlled flight into terrain.  ·  ·
