Eastern Airlines MU5735 Crashes In China
A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 carrying 132 passengers and crew members crashed in the mountains of southern China on March 21, 2022, according to multiple news sources. The flight, which was en route from Kunming to Guangzhou, lost airborne contact over Wuzhou in the Guangxi region. Tragically, there were no signs of survivors among the debris, and the airline confirmed fatalities without specifying the number. The aircraft, which was six years old, had been cruising at an altitude of 29,100 feet before it began a rapid descent, plummeting to 3,225 feet in just a few minutes. The sudden crash sparked a fire in the mountains, destroying bamboo trees and leaving the plane disintegrated on a scarred hillside. Hundreds of firefighters were dispatched to the scene, and nearby villagers assisted in the rescue efforts. President Xi Jinping called for an immediate investigation into the crash. The disaster prompted China Eastern Airlines to ground its fleet of 737-800 planes, and Boeing stated that its technical experts were prepared to assist with the investigation. This crash has once again brought attention to Boeing's safety record, particularly as the company seeks to recover from past crises involving its 737 MAX model. |

Last seconds. Fall would be at about 425kts+ (787km/r or 489 miles per hour.) They would HOPEFULLY be unconscious.

They were at 30K feet. Even if one engine failed, it should not have affected them, unless the crew was completely asleep. That airplane went straight in. I bet it was moving over 700 mph when it impacted. Amazing they actually got footage of it headed straight down!

I can see Alchemistmuffin is back obsessing but anyway. One of the videos has a man crying in the airport, from what it was said, he has three of his sons on that plane. One video is also a recreation of the plane. With the speed they were falling, you'd hope they were unconscious when they fell. |
