Death Video of Air Cargo Boeing 747 Crash at Bagram Airfield

Nevermind the date at the right hand corner. This happened on 29APR2013. All National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 members of the flight perished.

A National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 freighter on behalf of US Mobility Command, registration N949CA performing cargo flight N8-102 from Bagram (Afghanistan) to Dubai Al Maktoum (United Arab Emirates) with 8 crew and cargo consisting of 5 military vehicles, has crashed shortly after takeoff from Bagram Air Base's runway 03 at 15:30L (11:00Z) and erupted into flames near the end of the runway within the perimeter of the Air Base. All 8 crew are reported perished in the crash.

Afghan Authorities immediately denied claims that the crash of a large civilian cargo aircraft was the result of enemy activities. A large fire erupted after the aircraft impacted ground, it appears all crew have been killed.

Coalition Forces reported a civilian large cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff, at the time of the accident there was no enemy activity around the aerodrome. Rescue and Recovery efforts are under way, the Air Base is currently locked down and the aerodrome is closed.

National Air Cargo confirmed their aircraft N949CA with 8 crew crashed at Bagram.

Those killed include pilots Brad Hasler of Trenton, Mich. and Jeremy Lipka of Brooklyn, Mich.; first officers Jamie Brokaw of Monroe, Mich. and Rinku Summan of Canton, Mich.; loadmaster Michael Sheets of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and maintenance crewman Timothy Garrett of Louisville, Ky.

That my friends, is a stall caused more than likely from unsecured cargo shift to the aft of the fuselage. Once airborne, a pallet or other heavy load(s) shifted from the normally occuring high nose attitude on takeoff. The load moved to the rear and as a result the center of gravity also moved aft rendering the aircraft extremely tail heavy. This caused the bleed off of precious airspeed and a tip stall. Sad. Better know your loadmaster.

damn! if I was in any of those vehicles - especially the one in front of the vehicle that was taping that - I would probably still be shaking. and every time and every where that I saw or even heard an airplane flying overhead I would probably start freaking out. that airplane came down a little too close for comfort. at least it does appear that they did make an effort to not take anyone below out with them.

Holy shit! Ive seen small planes crash before, but never a plane of this size. It looks almost fake as it goes towards the ground. Thank you for the upload!!
