De Havilland Beaver Nosed Over Near Soldotna, AK
A single-engine De Havilland Beaver DHC-2 Mk.1, N454FU, was substantially damaged near Soldotna, AK, on April 22, 2023. The pilot was not injured. The accident was caused by the pilot's selection of an unsuitable landing site. The main landing gear wheels broke through the snow, and the airplane nosed over.  ·
