Cessna 550 N550DW Runway Excursion Near Oklahoma City, OK
On March 27, 2023, a Cessna 550, registration N550DW, operated by Xceed Management Group LLC, was substantially damaged in an accident near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No one was injured. The accident was caused by the pilot's improper landing flare, which led to a hard, bounced landing, a runway excursion, and a collision with a runway sign. Contributing factors were the pilot's lack of experience in the airplane, the unstabilized approach, and inadequate crew resource management.
