Cessna 180 N3178D Crash Near Harrisburg, PA
A single-engine Cessna 180, N3178D, crashed near Harrisburg, PA, on May 31, 2023. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. Two people were aboard. One was killed and one was seriously injured. The crash was caused by the pilot's inadequate preflight fuel planning and improper in-flight decision-making, which led to a total loss of engine power from fuel exhaustion and a collision with terrain and objects.  ·  ·  ·
