Cessna 172S N60372 Crash Near Casa Grande, AZ
A single-engine Cessna 172S, N60372, crashed near Casa Grande, AZ, on May 24, 2023. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. No injuries were reported. The crash was caused by an in-flight separation of the throttle linkage, which led to a loss of throttle control. Maintenance personnel's failure to follow the maintenance manual inspection procedure for the throttle cable assembly contributed to the accident.  ·  ·  ·
