Re: Brazilian Hand Glider Accident
The Argentine tourist, Adrián G. A, was from the town of Puerto Deseado in the Santa Cruz province. He had arrived in Rio de Janeiro just the day before the accident for a vacation with a group of ten close friends. This was his first-ever hang gliding experience and his last. Luiz Eduardo R.d.S. was the Brazilian instructor and was an experienced pilot with a decade of flying experience and had been formally affiliated with the local club for about a year. The Clube São Conrado de Voo Livre confirmed that his licenses, certifications, and safety documentation were completely up to date at the time of the flight. · · |
