Bellanca 8KCAB N5038E Crash Near Larchwood, IA
A single-engine Bellanca 8KCAB, N5038E, crashed near Larchwood, IA, on May 29, 2023. The airplane sustained substantial damage. Two people were aboard. One was seriously injured and one received minor injuries. The crash was caused by the pilot failing to maintain proper airspeed and exceeding the airplane's critical angle of attack during the initial climb after takeoff, resulting in an aerodynamic stall and impact with the ground.  ·  ·
