Bell APT70 Crash Near Mineral Wells, TX

On March 14, 2023, a Bell APT70, N314AL, operated by Bell Textron Inc, crashed near Mineral Wells, TX. The four-engine unmanned aircraft sustained substantial damage.

Nobody was aboard, and there were no injuries.

The crash was caused by the flight crew's loss of control of the unmanned aircraft due to software limitations. Overly restrictive low-voltage threshold limits contributed to the accident.
