Bell 206B Helicopter Crashes Near Fresno Home into Palm Tree
An investigation is ongoing into a helicopter crash that occurred in southeast Fresno on Saturday morning. The incident involved a Bell 206B helicopter, which lost tail rotor control during a maintenance check flight, according to preliminary information from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The helicopter clipped the edge of a house, sheared off the top of a palm tree, and landed on its side. Both the 47-year-old pilot and a 33-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center. The crash caused minor damage to the house, and no one inside the home was injured.

I would have been in the white car turning left, and about three seconds slower to get to the stop at the intersection.
