A Beechcraft V35B Bonanza aircraft experienced a dramatic accident during an emergency landing at St. Anthony Airport in Leverger, Brazil, on Sunday. The small plane overturned following a reported mechanical failure during takeoff.

The incident, which occurred on the 21st, began when the aircraft's front wheel detached as it left a farm airstrip. The pilot, who managed to steer the plane towards the airport for an emergency landing, was hospitalized for observation and treatment. He was subsequently released from the hospital on Monday, the 22nd.

Onboard the Beechcraft V35B Bonanza were the pilot and two passengers, one of whom was the owner of the plane. While the owner escaped the incident without injury, the second passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The cause of the mechanical failure that led to the front wheel breaking off is under investigation.
