Beech P35 N9777Y Crash Near Perry, FL
A Beech P35, registration N9777Y, crashed near Perry, Florida, on March 5, 2023. The single-engine airplane sustained substantial damage. No injuries were reported. The crash was caused by maintenance personnel incorrectly torquing the oil filter adapter jam nut. That led to failure of the adapter threads, a complete loss of oil, and a total loss of engine power.
