Amateur-built Curtiss JN4D Crash Near Greenville, KY
An amateur-built Curtiss JN4D, N8262, crashed near Greenville, KY, on May 15, 2023. The single-engine aircraft sustained substantial damage, and no one was injured. The crash was caused by the separation of an electrical wire that powered the ignition module. That made the ignition system inoperative and resulted in a total loss of engine power.  ·  ·
