Airbus EC130 Accident Near Carta Valley, TX
A single-engine Airbus Helicopters EC130, N254DM, was involved in an accident near Carta Valley, TX, on May 6, 2023. A right rear-seat passenger was seriously injured after releasing his restraint system and departing the helicopter while it was in a hover. The accident was caused by the passenger's improper judgment in releasing the restraint and leaving the helicopter in a hover.
