The Civil Aviation Administration of China should investigate, and produce a report detailing the findings, as well as any airworthiness concerns. The manufactures, RR, and Airbus should also report similar findings. IMO. if one of the mounts or a frame had failed I doubt the engine would have stayed attached. It might be possible with the back mount broken, but never the front. That's the thrust, and load bearing component. |
