Yeah, late 1960's tech. Although maybe it's a cheap chemical for them. Not every space effort gets the big bucks to spend. Launch people everywhere have to work with what the government pays for them to use.  I bet the engineers on THAT program were gnashing their teeth when they were told to use that stuff. |
