Re: 2 Teens Die on Ultralight Accident
I didn’t realize ultralight aircraft were that large. It must take a lot of cash to own that at 19y/o. It must have belonged to his parents. I bet they regret that purchase.

Re: 2 Teens Die on Ultralight Accident
Apparently they were Koreans. "An ultralight aircraft crash landed on a rice field in at Barangay Panalicsican in the town of Concepcion, Tarlac on 18 October 2025. According to authorities, the aircraft took off from Magalang, Pampanga, and was seen circling the area before crash landing at around 11 a.m. Two passengers were immediately taken to a medical facility for treatment. Both passengers are said to be of Korean nationality and are only in their late teens. There is no specific "ultralight pilot license" required in the Philippines because the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) does not regulate the operation of ultralight aircraft (ULAs). The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) does not issue a specific ultralight pilot license. The operations are not regulated by the CAAP's Flight Operations Department. The CAAP and the local government is currently conducting an investigation on the matter as nvestigators are still determining the cause of the crash." https://tribune.net.ph/2025/10/18/ul...ands-in-tarlac |
