Zoo Lion Grabs 10 Year Old Girl's Leg
On February 26, 2026, a 10-year-old girl was attacked by a lion at the Zhongshan Park Zoo in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China. The girl got too close to the iron cage while attempting to feed the lion. The lion reached its paw through the gap in the bars, grabbing the girl's lower leg and clothing to forcefully pull her toward the enclosure. A man managed to pull her back while a staff member struck the lion's paw with a stick. The struggle lasted approximately 30 seconds before she was freed. The girl sustained minor abrasions and was treated for shock at a local hospital. As a precaution, she also received a rabies vaccine. The zoo admitted to management failures, specifically regarding a staff member allowing visitors into a restricted area. The facility was temporarily closed for a safety overhaul, and the involved staff member was suspended. |

The lion was being fed - how could it know what was on or off the menu? Investigations will probably reveal the lion was trained by Jeffrey Epstein. |

Re: Zoo Lion Grabs 10 Year Old Girl's Leg
Animals belong in the wild where they thrive and should continue to live natural, normal lives. Humans should stop glorifying zoos and animal domestication in general. Same idea applies to stuffed animals (i.e; stuffed bears.) Bears aren't cute; they are killers. Don't want to hear anything about how they are "saving" them, or "rescuing" them. Oh what saints they are. I'm sure SeaWorld are "saving" them too.

That's pretty nice that you can stick your hand in the cage and pet the lions |
