just because something doesnt have an obvious purpose though doesnt mean it wasnt man made in the same way that just because there werent any tools found doesnt mean there wasnt any work done here. think of the gobekli tepe post i made, there have been no tools found there either, yet that is clearly a man made structure. while being under the sea for 10000+ years this site wouldnt have had the same protection form the elements as gobekli tepe has had. so anything protruding from the site could easily have been worn down by the elements. one of those things where we just dont know what the actual situation really was and probably never will know |

It's a natural formation. There are many other similar examples around the world. Take, for example - The Giants Causeway (http://www.tourist-attraction.co.uk/...iants-causeway) The Yonaguni formation is no more a product of human intervention, than the Giants Cause way is a creation of warring foes... |
