The pics are very sad but was there any other way to finish this war? And as bad as these pics are they are nothing compared to the pics of what happened to people in the Nazi Concentration camps. Good post and pics btw. Not only are they the kinda pics that fit this forum but they are educational as well.
Hard to say if there was a better way, but having the distinction of being the only country to use a nuke on a civialian population isn't a good one.

I dont take joy in the suffering of people.
But the fact remains that the bomb ended a war that may have dragged on for many years, resulting in a death toll exponentially greater than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

don't know what to say bout this one...i feel horrible for those people...but i wonder, would they have done they same to use eventually if we hadn't first...i don't approve the suffering of any civilian person...but the survival part of me thinks "better them then us"....
