Re: WWI In Colour - From the Western Front

Some of these pics were used in the opening credits of "The first World War" on the military channel and a few more used sporadically throughout the 6 part series, but I had never seen the rest of them. Absolutely fascinating!!!

Great post. THANKS!

Hello, friend Do you mean the 2003 documentary? I've seen that one and was looking for it the other week actually - want to put it up in all it's glory!

Well, the things are HUGE. I recorded them from my dvr to DVD a couple of years ago. I don't know how to go about posting something complete that big. I have a converter proggie somewhere. What would be the best format? (assuming this IS what you mean)

Also not too sure when these were made. It kinda feels like a BBC production type thing.

Yeah, I'm sure that's the one! I think the best way to get them up would be to get them up in small parts - personally, when I try to upload a 10 minute video it takes about 12 minutes so I try not to put anything up longer than 10 minutes at a time. But that's a huge documentary we're on about here so that would be a lot of cutting and uploading! I was having a look to see if I could find it already cut into short segments for each part... No luck yet!

Re: WWI In Colour - From the Western Front

videos which are split up into parts also make it easier for people with slower connections

Re: WWI In Colour - From the Western Front
