Wolf Spider
When the female wolf spider lays eggs, she carries them in a round, silky ball under her belly.  After the spiders have hatched, they move onto their mother's back and stay there until they can hunt on their own. Wolf spiders are the only spider known to carry their spiderlings on their backs.  Undeniable proof that she doesn't abandon her babies or have another spider raise them. |
