Wizards Of Spray Paint
These are some awesome artists, who utilize spray cans instead of brushes, and walls rather than canvases. I clustered each artists pieces together to save space. But, they are all just under 3000 pixels in size as per the maximum, so they can be zoomed in on pretty well. |

Greg "CRAOLA" Simkins. I've known of Greg Simkins longest. I might like him most because of his use of cartoonism in his graffiti, but also because as good as he is with a spray can he's even better with a brush, using oils and acrylics. He's definitely one of the pioneers of Pop Surrealism/Street Art--right up their with the infamous Ron English, Ben Frost, Banksy, etc. The third image shows examples of his works on canvas. |

ODEITH. Is the artist of these first few postings, who I discovered most recently. Posted last, for that reason, plus because I think his art best exemplifies the evolution of the hyper realism being projected 3 dimensionally style. I love his double corner stuff--like the one with the alligator.

Re: Wizards Of Spray Paint
Same. I suck with a spray can though. Plus I'm colorblind. A shop near me used to sell all the Gold and #94 cans in all the colours and shades, so I tried greyscale for a bit. I'm much better with pens and pencils though. I like making one off stickers a lot. I like KRINK--there mops and rollers are very great. Do you ever shop at Bombing Science? |
