Everyone loves bears. Even when they try to rip your pods off. Saw one video of a guy who posted on his SM immediately after being mauled by a bear. His eye was practically hanging out of its socket, and he said "And I haven't even taken off my cap yet to see where she scalped me." Even he loved bears. It's wonderful that we love bears so much we just don't want to hurt them unless absolutely necessary, even when they're showing signs of aggression or even predatory behavior. The bear in Kelly's 2nd video above seems to be a very young juvenile. I wonder how calm the guy would be if it was a 1000+ pound pissed off rogue male with more muscle than 10 Arnulds in their prime

I'd be interested in seeing the forensics photos of what was left of Treadwell and his girlfriend. And the video too.

I think I should buy bear spray for protection instead of pepper spray. I'm 4'11 so everyone is giant to me, haha

Some brown bears are such big mofos they can eat 2 cans of bear spray in the face and consider it a hot sauce appetizer before the main item on the menu - people. I didn't know this until recently and thought bear spray was completely foolproof. I'd probably take a magnum with me if I went camping in the heart of bear country though here's a guy with a very novel method of deterring predators from rooting for human vittles in their tents. Whether it works or not I don't know. He may already be the ginger version of Timothy Treadwell
