Re: Weirdest Regional Foods in the US

Comfort food in Ky consists of a piece of fried chicken between two krispy kreme doughnuts!!

How are you? I'll take your word for it. I can't eat the warm donuts.

Didn't go over too well here in Philadelphia, although I do know people who did like them, one originally from Texas.

Re: Weirdest Regional Foods in the US

Fried green tomatoes (had some 2 days ago), fried zucchini, frog legs, and fried of okra. I rarely eat fried but make exceptions for these on occasion. There's also fried chicken, fried chicken livers, & fried pickles. All very popular here in the south. And how could I forget jalapeno poppers! Peppers stuffed with cheese, battered, deep fried then served with ranch dressing! Have mercy!! Yep, everything is fried here in the south & all served with sweet tea ya'll (that'swhy so many of us are fat asses lol )

The only thing I'd eat from there is some chicken with the skin pulled off and some unsweetened iced tea!

Didn't do too well in Tennessee until I found a place that had lobster tail. I was thinner then, too.

As of August, I'm diabetic and anemic so I lick alot of those black iron frying pans, but, don't fry in them ;)

I hate the smell of hot grease! I have alot of quirks. We have big people up north, too!

Thank you! They remind me why I hate baby/child abusers/murderers! There is one more smaller one.

Some guy told me I was sick putting their picture on here!

Re: Weirdest Regional Foods in the US

I think that it's pretty bad that this isn't considered too obscene to keep off a fast food chain's menu... I mean sure, in your own home go for the gluttony gold, but come on KFC, don't let on that this is a thing.
