Sky watchers in parts of Europe, Africa, Central Asia and Australia observed the first total lunar eclipse of 2011 - the longest in nearly 11 years. The shadow started to fall at 1724 GMT and ended at 2300 GMT

It was cloudy here as well: but in Rome they managed to see it even from the center of the town, it did look so reddish too:

I just noticed that night, that something isnt normal with the moon, and after i came home i just saw on the net, that it was a lunar eclipse lol.
