Just being water repellant would do great for the frame work and roller tracks on a carwash gantry. I'm going to pass this one on to the engineering team at my company. Great post!  |

It's too costly at this time to do an entire hull of a ship. From what I have read it takes roughly an hour to laser etch a square inch.

Water repellant does not stop water vapor from reaching the ferrous material, a common cause of surface rust.
