How cool! But i bet they were treated badly for having tattoos especially the women. I loved the 24th piccy down the tattoo of Betty Boop shaving some other womans minky on her leg! lol I have a Betty Boop tattoo myself not as rude as that though! lol x

Keep in mind the Maori Chief's facial tattoo (Moko) would have been created with traditional tools. Which practically entails chiseling his face with a piece of sharpened bone.  |
