That's exactly what came to mind when I saw it too!  That is an amazing piece of footage. Because we never can predict where or when lightning will strike, the odds of capturing it on film this close are incredibly slim. |

That was really awesome.  My brother was struck when he was in middle school, but he turned out to be pretty normal. damn. |

I have to be honest, I don't remember a whole lot. Just that he was outside setting up a tent and reached out to grab something and was hit right above the elbow, on the inside of your arm. He had a nice 4-5 inch wound there. He spent a couple days in the hospital though. I mostly remember my mom freaking out. He then went on to shoot himself in the face with a bb gun a couple weeks later. |
