Anyone know how often Google Earth is updated?

i used othave a look at a house i used to live in the country side every now and then.

there was a construction site that was build by the house about a year before i moved there, and i couldnt see the construction site when i looked on google earth when i lived there, it didnt get updated with images that included the construction site till about a year after i'd moved out of that house. though it was a pretty rural location
