Uses and Recipes for Adipocere...? Wtf?
Gentle on me....this is my first post, and although not very exciting.....it is quite interesting! So, am i the last person on the planet to hear of this .....cooking with adipocere, using it for diaper rash. according to this website its uses are endless: http://www.adipocere.com/ Quoted from the above website: When our brave pioneers first faced the winters of the harsh New World, starvation reigned. Until the time when our Indian friends intervened, death was the rule in this new land--America. Then, just when all seemed lost, the ingenious pioneer Thomas Attinger (formerly a bootblack near White Chapel) discovered ADIPOCERE. Scavengers immediately stormed the boggy graveyards of their numerous former comrades, and feasting reigned. They were saved! In this busy, computerized world it is easy to forget the struggles of our ancestors and the good, simple foods which sustained them. But now, we bring some of that New World taste to your table. ADIPOCERE, food of the pioneers. |

Nah, fuck that. I have had to handle that shit before, I damn sure am not going to ingest it. Eating flesh of the dead that has turned into wax or soap is not for me. Cool post though. |

if i were one of the first pioneers and or starving i would likely do whatever i had to to stay alive. But in todays world......why on earth, WHO wants that shit? where the eff does this company (legally)get the corpses or harvest it from? Boy i sure would love to see a post on how it is "removed"! if you guys happen upon any photos depicting the process i'd love to see those!!!
