Searched it to see if it were possible and yes it is. It is a nitrate. It can cause heart problems, and even induce a heart attack. |

892: Sigurd the Mighty of Orkney strapped the head of his defeated foe, Máel Brigte, to his horse's saddle. The teeth of this head grazed against his leg as he rode, causing an infection that killed him.  Wonderful thread Amy...interesting read...love it  |

Aren't you glad we live in an age of a million antibiotics and surgeons that can patch almost anything up. I have a feeling my death will be unusual too...just not to that degree. You are in charge of beefin up my obit to make it sound like a heroic death and not that my cat scratched my eye leading to a blood clot that went to my brain. |
