Dude.....I totally agree with your prospective here.....and not owning a pit myself but I have several friends that do and I can say that all of the "sterotypes" are NOT true save one......"ability"....meaning they have the ability to be DANGERIOUS......BUT!!.....that all PITS......but yea man keep up the positive issues with this breed and maybe you can change the perspectives of the folks making the laws against these dogs.....later dude

Thanks. :) Yes, they can be dangerous in the wrong hands, but so can anything with sharp teeth, lol. Especially big dogs. Pit bull + idiot owner = extremely dangerous. But also German Shepherd + idiotic owner = extremely dangerous.

Thanks for the info, i have a german rotti and apb the only thing either of them would do is lick you to death. my pit is only 5 months old and was being abused severely by its owners, so we TOOK HIM! he is the lovingest dog i have ever seen all he wants is companionship even after being abused! usually dogs are a reflection of their owners.

Very good thread! I have a lot of friends with pits and everyone of them is really good with strangers idk about other dogs tho since their not mine. I don't personally own a pit but they are 1 of my favorite breeds without a doubt.

Thanks for all of the info Pits can be raised to bde wonderful pets, and when they are overagressive, there is a reason. People need to know that. It tears me up to see what happens when assholes get ahold of these animals and mistreat them into over-aggressiveness, and it tears me up to read about people being killed by them.....but there is always a reason....and it is not as simple as JUST THE BREED. |
