Re: Trapped Snake Thanks It's Rescuers With A Surprise
The snake was really stressed and thought it was being attacked. They can't move very fast after recently eating, so when threatened, they will regurgatate and flee. It's jaw wasn't broken. It was just out of whack from biting the stick. The jaw bones aren't fused together at the chin, like ours are. So, I guess it kind of is "broken", but it's suppose to be that way. These guys were dumb kids, but I'm glad to see them trying to help wildlife, rather than torturing and killing it. I get tired of seeing people be such pussies about spiders and snakes. |

"craziest moment of my life..." Wow... you Americans really are devoid of anything in nature... I had a 5 foot python eating a 10 pound fruit bat in my front yard not long ago... And that's not even outta the ordinary... |

Who cares about the size, just glad to see kids saving something instead of killing it. My first ball python got stressed after his first feeding because all my roommates wanted to watch him, was bad for the snake but hilarious as he projectile vomited right at their faces (he was in a terrarium). Grown men screaming, was hilarious. |
